Our Farmstand

SLF Aug1-8 web.jpg

Located conveniently on New London's Main Street, we strive to provide a variety of items to our community grown and crafted by local farmers and NH artisans. Our offerings extend to New England made products that are unique and distinct by design.

Here at Spring Ledge Farm, we grow 10 acres of mixed vegetables, 12 acres of sweet corn, 4 acres of strawberries, and an acre of fresh flowers which are all harvested daily for the coolers and shelves of our farmstand. By our crews picking daily we ensure the highest quality of produce for our community. In addition, we source from other local farms, artisans, and vendors for a variety of goods.

Jerod

Jerod Rockwell comes to Spring Ledge Farm from a career in Hospitality and Restaurants.  He owned and operated his own restaurant in New London, NH for a number of years and came to us most recently from 10 years of managing restuarant operations for high end glass blowing business Simon Pearce in Quechee, Vermont.

Jerod's increasing awareness of the contributions of agriculture to our local communities made the role of Farmstand Manager the perfect opportunity for him to make the connection between farming and food. Jerod’s passion lies in engaging with employees and customers on a daily basis and making sure that we are meeting the needs of our teams and our community through The Farmstand.

Oh, and food.  He really loves food.  One of his favorite food memories was being on the Field Crew in ‘96 here at Spring Ledge Farm and bringing a jar of mayo and a loaf of wheat bread and enjoying a phenomenal tomato and cucumber sandwich most days when working.  Oh, to be able to go back!

Jerod lives locally (maybe too locally!) with his wife Jenn, son Jacob, and their curious dog, Tatum.

Caroline

After working in the farmstand for two seasons in 2020 and 2023, Caroline is excited to join the management side of things as the Assistant Farmstand Manager!

She really values the opportunity to be a part of our local food system and to connect with our producers and customers. With a background in environmental policy, customer service, and a love of the outdoors, Spring Ledge is the perfect place to work! Caroline loves all fruit and vegetables, but is especially excited for Spring Ledge strawberries, broccoli, and corn. When she’s not at work, Caroline likes exploring new trails, cross country skiing, and spending time with friends and family.
